Visa Information:
To study abroad in the USA, international students need a F-1 student visa. This visa allows students to be enrolled as a full-time student at an American university. The time period of the granted visa depends on the length of your time studying abroad. Students may enter the US 30 days before the I-20 start date and may stay for up to 60 days after the program end date on their I-20. Students typically use the 60 day grace period after the end of their studies to travel within the USA. Students can request a F-1 visa only after their application is approved and after receiving their I-20 form. Visas can only be requested at US embassies and consulates. Why should you come and study with us?

City & Living
City features:
San Diego is located in Southwestern California and the city’s close proximity to the Pacific ensures a pleasantly mild climate year round. The average daytime temperatures are between 24 and 29 degrees in the summer with very few days falling below 18 degrees in the winter. With an average of nine hours of sunshine per day and less than 30 rainy days per year, San Diego has countless outdoor recreational activities – on the beach, in the city, or in the nearby mountains.Studying between palm trees and surfboards – an incomparable experience. Learning with the sun on my face and sand between my toes has made my dreams come true.
Explore Balboa Park, home to a variety of museums and cultural venues including the Rose Garden, Orchid House, and a replica of the London Globe Theater. For lovers of American history, the Cabrillo Monument marks the southern tip where the first Spanish settlers landed and is a recommended national landmark. The former aircraft carrier the USS Midway has been converted into a museum and is worth a visit as well.
San Diego’s beach cities (Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, and Pacific Beach) are particularly popular and invite you to surf, dive, snorkel, swim, or sail year round. The beautiful district of La Jolla in the north of San Diego offers tide pools, shopping, fine dining, and beautiful hikes and views. Downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter offers exceptional nightlife, from rooftop bars to late-night clubs and unique world cuisine.
But not only San Diego has a lot to offer – whether day trips, weekend trips or longer holidays – do not miss to get to know California and Mexico better!
