Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), has been continuously ranked as the best international university in Korea. It is considered No. 1 for historical studies and is also Korea's best foreign language university . At HUFS students can learn more than 45 languages, only two universities worldwide offer more language programs.
The university has two campus with 17 colleges and 74 deparments. Therefore students can choose from dozens of different study fields and languages.

Application requirements:
Visiting students must have:- completed at least one semester at their home university at the time of participation;
- a minimum GPA score of 2.5 out of a 4.0 scale
For enrollment in English delivered courses, students must have one of the following,
IELTS - overall band score of at least 6.0
TOEFL/TOEFL ITP - 550 or higher ➔computer-based 213 or higher ➔internet-based 80 or higher
TOEIC - 750 or higher
Confirmation letter written by a professor from the home university. The professor must be familiar with the expected standards of an English-medium university program and should be able to testify/verify students' ability to perform in an English-medium academic environment.

You can easily get around in Seoul by public transport. The subways are clean and cheap and the subways systems is really extensive.You can also take a taxi in Seoul which is also quiet cheap but it is good to have the address in Korean since only few taxi drivers speak English.
Housing On-Campus:
765 EUR - HUFS offers its students various housing options. Though Global Hall and the International Houses are technically "off" campus, they are directly across the street from the front or rear gate of campus.
