Visa Information:
If you are an EU/EEA/Swiss student, you do not need a residence permit or MVV (entry visa) to study in the Netherlands. You need a valid passport/ID and to register with the local municipality if staying longer. Tio assumes EU‑students do not require a visa/MVV.Non-EU students require an MVV (“authorisation for temporary stay”) and/or a residence permit for study purposes. The exact requirement depends on your country (some are exempt from MVV). Tio handles the application process (once you’ve met conditions) for the MVV &/or residence permit.
When can students apply for a visa?
After a student has been accepted by Tio, submitted all required legalised documents, and paid the package fee (for non‑EU students). Only then will Tio apply for your MVV / residence permit.
