Dorset College is located in the heart of Dublin City, approximately 8 minutes’ walk to O’Connell Street, (main street of Dublin city). We are located in beautiful Georgian buildings with history and a great atmosphere with parks and amenities nearby.
Dorset College has approximately 1,200 students in total with a student centric approach from all the professors. Professors are known on a first name basis and get to know the students on a first name basis also. It is a lovely learning environment with a personal friendly approach to education. The student experience is fantastic in Dorset College with many clubs and societies and workshops organised throughout the semester. There are excursions to visit famous tourist attractions in Ireland such as the tallest Cliffs in Europe to Skellig Michael where star wars was filmed. There is plenty to do and see. The social life in Dublin is great and Dorset College has student nights organised throughout the year also.

All classrooms are built for hybrid technology so students have flexibility of fully “in-class” modules but also options to do some days remotely too.Scholarship possibilities for international students:
Dorset College has limited scholarships. Any Scholarships would be assigned to students after application.Internships:

Orientation is mandatory for all international students and takes please in the beginning of each semester.Examperiod:
Exams take place during and after the semester.Working while studying:
International students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week on or off campus. EU students are not required to work only 20 hours per week and can work for longer but we do not recommend this as it could impact their studies. It is easy to find a part time job in Ireland with minimum wage starting at €10.20 per hour. Students often like to look for internship opportunities also and there are many organisations that help with this also.Fees

It is possible to find all the main attractions for both, tourists and locals, in the Centre. Dublin has many museums and parks including the largest city park in Europe - Phoenix Park.Many students love to hang out at the famous Temple bar area of the city, famous for its traditional Irish pubs and music.
Ireland has many tourist attractions outside of Dublin for example - Cliffs of Moher, Blarney Stone, Jameson factory in Cork, Giant’s Causeway and many islands off the coast of Ireland to visit. If you want to stay local, Dublin has the Guinness factory and many other craft breweries. 240 - 250 per week While we do not have on-campus housing available to students, we partner with a nearby student accommodation called Point Campus, run by Host Student Accommodation Company, who have accommodation throughout Europe. This student accommodation is brand new, with innovative common areas where students can study or socialize with other students residing there. There is a gym, cinema, games room, outside courtyards, bike storage, 24 hour reception, and a rooftop garden. Most importantly, there are many study spaces and the location is extremely convenient – the Luas stops right outside of the campus, along with a bus, and you can reach Dorset College in 20 minutes via public transportation or 30 minutes walking. Only a couple of minutes from the ICMS campus in Manly you can watch stunning sunsets over Sydney. At the Fairfex lookout students spend a great time together with their international friends, eating pizza and listening to music while watching the Sydney harbour. You may even see one of the whales passing by the coast.
