Visa Information:
Students need the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) for studying at CapU for one semester. The process to receive the eTA is really easy and only takes about a couple of minutes and costs 7 CAD. Application requirements:
● Proof of English Language Proficiency based on regular English Language Requirements. If submitting DET or TOEFL, you must assign your report to CapU for verification purposes at DET – Duolingo English Test and TOEFL (CapU code: 0505).● High school applicants: International high school transcript and proof of graduation, including certified translation in English, where applicable. Scanned copies are acceptable before the term start.

● Letter of Permission from home institution, which indicates the program/term the applicant is approved to take at CapU.

Orientation:
The orientation day for international students typically takes place online at the beginning of the semester.Examperiod:
The exam period in the fall semester takes place in the beginning or middle of December, just before christmas so that you are able to be home by christmas. And the exam period in the spring term takes place in the beginning or middle of April. This period lasts two weeks but there will also be quizzes and assignments throughout the semester.Accessibility:

CapU Residence fees starting at just <input class= - From the CapU, which is the on-campus housing option at the Capilano University, it takes about 15 minutes by bus and 30 minutes by foot to the university. Students typically share a room as well as a bathroom. There is the possibility for students to choose their flat mate after getting accepted for the student housing.The CapU Residence fees start at just $1,190 CAD per month including meals, high-speed wi-fi, hydro, electricity, laundry, amenities, communal areas, etc.
It is open to full-time students and provides an affordable, safe, and convenient housing option, supported by live-in residence advisors. Our community offers engaging programs and activities that help you grow and succeed in school while you meet new people and build lasting friendships.

Our students love the Fairfax Lookout on the North Head!
Only a couple of minutes from the ICMS campus in Manly you can watch stunning sunsets over Sydney. At the Fairfex lookout students spend a great time together with their international friends, eating pizza and listening to music while watching the Sydney harbour. You may even see one of the whales passing by the coast.
