Our World of Students Team

World of Students is a creative team specialized in offering travel-loving adults the opportunity to find the right university at home or abroad and the chance to spend an unforgettable time abroad. All of our team members have spent some time abroad themselves, for example as part of a student exchange, gap year, internship abroad or study abroad. Our stays abroad have enriched each of us incredibly and created memories we will never forget. That’s why we want to give students the chance to find the perfect study program with the help of our database.

Svenja Preker

Hi, I'm Svenja – I've been working in study abroad consulting for over six years and lead the World of Students team. As an International Education Consultant, I advise students on study abroad programs, guide them through the application process, and help with any questions they may have about international experiences. I've been traveling extensively since childhood, and during my school and university years, I participated in several exchange programs, language stays, an internship in London, and a semester abroad in the USA. I'm always happy when students exceed their own expectations and meet exciting people from all over the world. So, if you're looking for an adventure, we're the right place for you – I'd be happy to help!

Julia Opfer

Julia is our team's contact person for a semester abroad in North or Latin America. She's happy to help you with her expertise, which she's gained over the past few years both as an International Education Consultant and during previous stays abroad. Not only has she spent a semester abroad herself and therefore knows exactly what's important, but her passion for travel has also taken her to several places, including, of course, the Americas. For example, she visited St. Francis College in New York in 2023 and stayed in the university-recommended accommodation, so she can provide valuable insights.

Nadine Krenz

Hi, I'm Nadine, a working student in Marketing and Design at World of Students and a Master's student in International Management. My studies perfectly match my interest in internationality and travel: I've already done work and travel in Canada and spent a semester abroad in Seattle. I love being on the move and creatively capturing the most beautiful moments. That's why I'm so passionate about working on our Instagram channel and other marketing projects where I can fully express my creativity. Feel free to check out our channels!

Sabine Sachs

My name is Sabine Sachs and I am the Managing Director of World of Students. Even while studying in San Diego, I established international partnerships for my university. After successfully completing my MBA, I worked as Director of International Business Development, first in San Diego and then back in Germany, continually expanding the network with business schools and representing the university in Europe. This made me realize how difficult it is for universities to communicate their profiles to students, on the one hand, and how great the need is for students to receive precise information about study opportunities abroad, on the other. During this time, other foreign universities repeatedly approached me with the request to also head their international student office in Europe. This gave me the opportunity to expand the study abroad offerings to include other countries and study areas. This way, we can offer our students free, comprehensive, and direct advice in Europe.
