Woosong University was founded in 1954 and is located in Daejeon, South Korea. The university has three international schools: SolBridge International School of Business, Sol International School and Endicott College of International Studies. All classes in the International schools are taught in English. Woosong University has signed more than 400 agreements with partner universities and institutions all over the world. Therefore Woosong University is for example offering joint research, dual degree, Student Exchange, and Study Abroad programs.
Woosong University is located in Daejeon, 55 minutes away from Seoul by high-speed train. Daejeon is Korea’s fifth largest city and is renowned for being Korea’s Silicon Valley with about 30 research and development institutions. With a population of 1.5 million, Daejeon has the highest concentration of researchers with more than 7,000 PhD holders living and working in the city.

Visa Information:
Students need a D2 student visa.They can apply for a visa after completing the payment of their fees and receiving our supporting visa documents.
Students are allowed to stay in Korea until two weeks after the semester officially finishes. If they wish to stay longer, they would have to ask permission to change their visa to tourist visa. Decision is at the discretion of the Daejeon Immigration Office.

Visiting and study abroad students are eligible to receive tuition scholarships (from 10 up to 50% per semester).Full-time degree-seeking students are eligible for 30-100% tuition scholarships. Depending on their academic performance and English test score, they will be awarded an admission scholarship for one full semester. Then, in order to maintain their scholarship or increase it, students will have to reach a certain GPA every semester. It is competitive and provides good students with some incentives to continue to study hard and perform well.
Please kindly note that the tuition fees mentioned are provided without scholarships.
Internships:
Students could stay for an internsip. They may have to change their visa in that case, and have to check with their host company.Application Deadline:

With the approval of our Admissions Department, and on a case by case basis, we can usually accept late applications until mid-July or mid-January. After this date, the student may not be able to come to Korea on time. We remain flexible to make it work!
Application requirements:
- Step 1: Please apply online via the link below and submit all required documents- Step 2: schedule an admission interview with our Admissions Manager
- Step 3: after passing the interview, the Admissions Team will send you an acceptance letter and invoice via email
- Step 4: please be advised to proceed with the payment via bank transfer
- Step 5: after payment is received, the Admissions Team will send you the necessary visa documents to the home address and/or electronically
- Step 6: please be advised to apply for the D2 student visa at the Korean embassy in your home country preferably, at your earliest convenience.
Orientation:
Orientation week is mandatory. It takes place in February and August.Fees for orientation week depend on the department.
Examperiod:
Final exams take place in the last two weeks of the semester. Courses may include other exams depending on the course structure (mid-term exams, presentation, homework, quizzes).Accessibility:
The university does not have a specific policy towards disabilities, but we are ready to accommodate requests if possible.Working while studying:
Study abroad students will not be granted permission to work.Full degree international students are allowed to work part-time on campus up to 20 hours per week. Only degree-seeking students are allowed to work.

Only a couple of minutes from the ICMS campus in Manly you can watch stunning sunsets over Sydney. At the Fairfex lookout students spend a great time together with their international friends, eating pizza and listening to music while watching the Sydney harbour. You may even see one of the whales passing by the coast.
