I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a study abroad program that enriched my academic and personal growth. Spending a semester at SDSU broadened my horizons, exposed me to a diverse community, and allowed me to immerse myself in a vibrant cultural and educational environment. One of the most memorable aspects of studying abroad at SDSU was the campus itself.
As an international student, I was a bit nervous about fitting in and making friends, but those worries quickly faded away. The SDSU community was incredibly welcoming and inclusive. The staff and faculty were extremely supportive and understanding, making the transition to a new country seamless. They offered valuable guidance and resources to ensure that I felt comfortable and settled throughout my time at the university. One of the highlights of my study abroad experience was the chance to travel around California. San Diego's central location allowed me to explore other popular destinations like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and even Las Vegas. I made unforgettable memories road tripping with friends and experiencing the unique vibes of each city.
Living in San Diego also allowed me to engage in outdoor activities and enjoy the city. I spent weekends hiking, surfing, and enjoying the food and night life. Looking back, studying abroad at SDSU was truly a life-changing experience. It opened my eyes to different cultures, broadened my perspective, and gave me a newfound sense of independence. I'll always cherish the friendships I made, the experiences I had, and the personal growth that came with stepping out of my comfort zone. SDSU will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I can't wait to return one day to relive the incredible memories I made during my time there.
