If you're an EU or European citizen planning to study in Costa Rica for one semester (less than 180 days), you don’t need a student visa before arrival. You can enter the country as a tourist and apply for a special stay permit (estancia) once you're in Costa Rica.Why should you come and study with us?

Our office also provides logistical support for faculty-led programs and group tours (for groups larger than 6 people), all with the aim of giving students a safe and unforgettable adventure. Scholarship possibilities for international students:
Currently, Universidad Veritas does not offer scholarships for international students. However, our Study Abroad program provides flexible options for students to customize their experience based on their needs. The overall cost of the program will depend on factors such as the number of courses, course types, length of stay, housing, and additional services like excursions, airport pick-up, lunch packages, and more.Internships:

Universidad Veritas is located 1 km east of Casa Presidencial, in Zapote, San José Province.Taxi: A taxi ride from Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) to the university will cost around ₡15,000-₡20,000 (approximately $25-$35 USD) and takes about 20-30 minutes.
Uber: An Uber ride from the airport to the university costs around ₡8,000-₡12,000 (approximately $15-$20 USD) and also takes about 20-30 minutes.
Bus: You can take a local bus from downtown San José to Zapote. Bus fares are around ₡350-₡500 (approximately $0.60-$1 USD), and the ride takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Housing Off-Campus:
On-campus accommodation is not provided, but students are encouraged to consider a homestay with a local family for an authentic and immersive experience in Costa Rica. LCI Veritas has strong relationships with trusted homestay families, many of whom have been part of the program for several years. When selecting new families, we conduct thorough interviews and home visits to ensure that the accommodations meet our high standards of comfort and safety. This allows students to experience Costa Rican culture firsthand while enjoying a welcoming and supportive living environment.

Our students love the Fairfax Lookout on the North Head!
Only a couple of minutes from the ICMS campus in Manly you can watch stunning sunsets over Sydney. At the Fairfex lookout students spend a great time together with their international friends, eating pizza and listening to music while watching the Sydney harbour. You may even see one of the whales passing by the coast.
