Visa Information:
In most cases, students need a Fee Paying Student Visa:www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/apply-for-a-visa/about-visa/full-fee-paying-student-visa
Once students have paid the tuition fees and received the receipt (Summary of Deposit), they can apply for a visa. The University doesn't recommend European students to apply earlier than 3 months as some documents may expire (ie. medicals, police reports, etc.)

Study opportunities:
International Students can study abroad during their Bachelor's and Master's, complete a full degree or start off with a Gap Year (First Year Abroad) experience (Study Abroad trimesters are Tri 1 + 2). VUW offers approx. 30 different undergraduate/graduate and 140 postgraduate programmes.Scholarship possibilities for international students:

The University offers some programmes with integrated internships, but doesn't offer stand-alone internship options. Some students arrange for an internship outside the University before or after their studies. Students would need apply for the internship and then apply for an appropriate visa with Immigration New Zealand.Application Deadline:

• Evidence of English proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, Pearson Test of English, Cambridge English, DAAD English test: minimum grade of B2 in each section

Our students love the Fairfax Lookout on the North Head!
Only a couple of minutes from the ICMS campus in Manly you can watch stunning sunsets over Sydney. At the Fairfex lookout students spend a great time together with their international friends, eating pizza and listening to music while watching the Sydney harbour. You may even see one of the whales passing by the coast.
